The Gin Game
By D.L. Coburn

As funny as it is touching, this heartwarming “dramedy” explores the lives of two spirited senior citizens, who express themselves and their feelings – about their families, their lives and the aging process – through the card games they play together. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize, The Gin Game is sometimes intense, always insightful, and consistently entertaining.

Starring Lillian Hitchcock (Bloomfield) and Richard Hartle (Birmingham), St. Dunstan’s production of The Gin Game is directed by Paul A. Gillin (Birmingham) with Assistant Director Laura Diane Dooley (Huntington Woods). (Biographies are provided below.)

The Gin Game will be presented January 17, 18, 19 (2 pm matinee), 23, 24 and 25, 2003. Except for the matinee, all performances are at 8 pm. Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for students and seniors.
