The Pavilion (indoor theatre) The Pavilion was originally built as an open-air adjunct to the outdoor Greek Theatre. Its more practical present-day incarnation was designed and supervised by Eliel Saarinen, who created world-renowned architecture throughout Cranbrook. In 1932, St. Dunstan's was granted use of the Pavilion as our permanent home. Over the years, St. Dunstan's has turned this once-empty building into the home of one of the premier amateur theatres in southeast Michigan.
