About St. Dunstan's Theatre Guild of Cranbrook

The Guild was founded in 1932 by Henry Scripps Booth, whose parents George and Ellen Scripps Booth founded the Cranbrook Educational Community.  Our season includes six shows: four in our indoor playhouse (the Pavilion) and a production performed in the outdoor Cranbrook Greek Theatre each June.  In November we also present a Children's Theatre production.

From a portion of our proceeds, St. Dunstan's supports several scholarships within the Cranbrook Community.  One rotates between Cranbrook-Kingswood School, Brookside School and the Cranbrook Academy of Art.  Another provides tuition for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 at the Cranbrook Summer Theatre School.
